In 1629 we found the name of Spermon, Spermont [77 KB] , Sparmon [6 KB] , Sparmond [27 KB] or Sparmont [44 KB] . Francois Spermont [147 KB] is a soldier [31 KB] , from Liege [54 KB] (son of Walter Spermont), living in Amsterdam on the Prinsengracht and worked as a maker of gold wires (gouddraadtrekker). Religion "Waals gereformeerd", reformed. This family name stopped in the 18th century. A link with Spermon is not found. Furtheron the name Sparmond (1729) with also no link.

In Mechelen we found a Martina Spermondt in 1653 [64 KB] and a Rumoldus [16 KB] Spremon in 1717 [50 KB] .
